The NAL Pre-cast Retention Socket System is designed to facilitate the installation of a rapid foundation all types of street furniture, thus eliminating the need for concrete on site. Retention Sockets are supplied in a pre-cast foundation designed to suit the furniture being installed and the ground conditions on-site. Manufactured with certified lifting points, the system is simply lifted into position, levelled and backfilled, drastically reducing the construction time on site.

This “Rapid Foundation” Pre-cast Retention Socket System is available for all types and sizes of NAL Retention sockets. This is a range of cast steel or ductile iron sockets which securely retain in position all types of illuminated and non-illuminated street furniture. The furniture is secured into the socket by stainless steel setscrews located in a recessed chamber in the socket head.
