NAL Prepares for 10th Live Traffex Appearance
As we prepare for Traffex 2024, it's hard to believe this year marks NALs 10th live appearance.
We made our first live appearance as exhibitors in 2007, and it's difficult to comprehend where the last 17 years have gone. The only thing we know for sure is that changes have come, the business has grown, our family has expanded, and some have moved on while others are still here providing first-class service to our customers. Take a trip down memory lane and browse through the gallery below; you will likely recognise some familiar faces.
On the subject of change, for the very first time in the event's history, Traffex has moved the venue from the Birmingham NEC to the Coventry Building Society Arena, taking place from 22nd - 23rd May.
So, what can visitors expect from NAL this year?
We will be on stand B10, where we will showcase our infrastructure solution offerings in the Traffic Signals, Street Lighting, Highways, and EV Infrastructure markets.
On Wednesday 22nd, look out for UK Sales Manager Ryan Churchill, who will be speaking on the panel: Designing and Maintaining Roads for a Safer Tomorrow, where discussions will include the importance of passive safety and designing around human error to mitigate roadside hazards.
Featured products
Our Retention Socket System, which revolutionised the approach towards installing and maintaining street furniture and highway assets across the UK, will be featured on our stand, to include the Duckfoot Bend, Tee Bend and Shallow Foundation sockets, developed for flexible cabling of illuminated signage and columns, as well as our non-illuminated flat base sockets designed to streamline the installation and maintenance of signage, bollards and guardrail.
The LIFTlock® Composite Frame & Cover system, will be present to reveal the impressive mechanism designed to improve security and manual handling.
A fully functional EasyWynd® will also be present to demonstrate the benefits of ground-level maintenance of elevated highway equipment.
Also set to return is the maintenance-free, virtually indestructible range of X-Last bollards. Available in various shapes, sizes, and colours, this polymer-based bollard continues to impress and improve pedestrian and road-user safety. Why not see for yourself in one of our latest case studies featuring X-Last bollards outside Wrekin View Primary School in Telford.
Our offering wouldn’t be complete without one of our Universal EV Foundations, a system designed to future-proof EV Charging bays against rapidly evolving technology by enabling old EV dispensers to be removed and new units installed without additional civil works. View our latest EV case study and discover how Gridserve utilised this system to support an upgrade programme across the UK’s Roadchef sites.
