Modern Slavery Statement

Modern slavery is a heinous crime in which people are treated as commodities and exploited for criminal gain and is an issue that can affect individuals and communities across the globe.

As a responsible and ethical business, NAL Limited is committed to respecting human/labour rights and taking all reasonable steps to ensure that modern slavery (in any form) does not take place in our sphere of influence. Transparency throughout our supply chain is critical in achieving this goal.

Modern Slavery Act

The Modern Slavery Act was introduced in 2015 and applies to all businesses that operate in the UK. Some organisations, those with an annual turnover of £36m or more, are required to produce an annual slavery and trafficking statement.

NAL Limited is part of the leading global building materials group CRH plc which employs approximately 87,000 people at almost 3,800 locations worldwide. As such, we abide by the guiding principles of business as set out in the CRH Values. As a UK operating company and part of the CRH PLC, NAL complies with Group policy regarding the Modern Slavery Act.

Our ‘Commitment to Human Rights – Tackling Modern Slavery’ confirms the steps we are taking to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking does not occur in our organisation and that of our supply chain partners CRH Modern Slavery Statement.
